Nine Gods Festival Celebration

Time flies, a year passed and here is the Nine Gods Festival celebration again starting today! Remember those days in my teenage life, where I hoped so desperately to walk to the temple behind my house and watched the opera and singing performance there. The festival always fell on my school examination days, and I was forced to stay at home doing revision while my ears were pricking up for the music and songs from the temple.

These are the buns that are sold during the festival. My family enjoy the buns so much, especially my two kids. We call these "tortoise buns ~ because of the shapes" and "longevity peaches ~ believe to lead a long life after eating". Actually I can walk to the temple whenever I want. There are so much varieties of vegetarian food there. Yet, I was now too lazy to join the crowd. I don't like vegetarian food though. I will only step in the temple to pray on one of the days. Thinking changes when one grows older.

This festival lasts for nine days, as each of the God will be accompanied to the temple each night. There will be a great procession this Sunday morning. I want to watch it with the kids. I wonder how we could squeeze in the crowds on the street. Someone has to carry my boy along the way walking on the street. I will die if it is me. I wonder whether I should bring the kids along....hemm...

Driving License Expired!

I happened to be listening on the reminder of checking our due date of renewing driving license from the radio while driving this morning. I was shocked to find out that my license is expired for almost a month! Yet, I didn't even notice and still driving so daringly on the road. Luckily there was no road block within these days. Thank God I didn't catch up with any accident!

I'm going to renew it tomorrow. Now, I'm a bit chicken to drive. No choice, nobody wants to be the driver of the kids to school tomorrow morning. I better be more careful. Pray that nothing bad is going to happen while on the road ..... *cross fingers* Why am I so forgetful?

About A Friend ......

Before we started our yoga lesson this morning, there was a small celebration been carried on. Our instructor has bought a jackfruit cake to celebrate one of her student's birthday. The birthday 'woman' is somehow a woman in her sixties. We all call her 'Ah Ling'. Haha....this fella even asked each of us to give her a big kiss as birthday present! =D

She is a very friendly and funny person. She often acts like our monitor in the class. She will remind and help us if we pose wrongly in yoga. She jokes around with us, to make everyone happy and forget about the toughness while doing yoga. Not everyone can be the one breaking the ice in class.

I admire her. I hope that I can be like her too, to be able to lead a happy life forever and to mingle around with everyone so closely. It is indeed a wide knowledge to pick up.

Asian Matching For Bachelors

I attended a grand wedding with hubby in Syuen Hotel on last Mid Autumn night. We met up a lot of friends who were hubby's schoolmates. Wedding occassions are somehow our ex-schoolmates gathering nowadays. Some of them are still bachelors, and they are desperately looking for a girlfriend. Working vs Jogging Suit

How do you feel when you see a man wearing THIS for jogging?? Take a closer look! He is wearing slack, instead of sports pants! I have been advising him on a proper wear to jog, but he insists to have THIS. Why huh?? Maybe, he is just a bit too shy to show his hairy leg. :D

Locate Sexual Predator In Your Area

There are so many sexual criminal cases happened in the housing areas recently. Besides, the crimes can also be found in the university and office too. The world is so unsafe now. The government security has to do something. As for women citizens, it is better to trace for the Sexual Predator List around your living area. Precautions have to be done. No one can help us if we really face with danger at that very moment. We, ladies have to guard and protect ourselves.

Bangkok Trip Postponed!

We have to cancel our trip to Bangkok next Monday due to the politic crisis there recently. So fed up la! After waiting for so many months, and the kids are so anxious to go, now have to postponed to one more month! Why don't those Thai people demonstrate after our trip?? Really frustrated!

We have to spend almost a thousand more to change our flight date to 20 Oct. Really wasting money......I can use this to spend on our food and transportation in Bangkok. *sigh* What to do? We are so unlucky.

Mothers Searching For Offsprings

Everyday, I read news about mothers looking for their long-lost child in newspaper. Those people have been looking for their offsprings since young till they are in old age now. So pity to read about that. Can these unfortunates find the persons they want from People Search ? They should give it a try since they have been waiting for more than 10 years. I learn something here. I must value my loved ones and make sure they are healthy and happy always.

Go Or Not To Go To Bangkok??

I'm in great dilemma. After all the months I've been waiting, next Monday would be my flight to Bangkok with family and friends. But, the breakout news about Bangkok in the state of emergency has made me worried. My parents are worried that the demonstration would create some unforseen danger of chaos during our visit in the city. And, somemore I'm bringing my kids along.

Can anyone give any advice here? Everyone is so excited about the trip already. How could I tell the kids the truth and spoil their expectation? They have been reminding me again and again about their trip in September since few months ago. :(

Let's see how it goes. Hopefully the Thai citizens would be calmed down very soon.
